Lilac Electra-Fying, article in Australian magazine Two Wheels Issue 2 1967; road test of 1967 Marusho Lilac R92 Magnum Electra motorcycle exported to Australia. This is a 2.6mb road test of the 1967 Lilac R92 Electra (aka Marusho Magnum Electra) from Issue 2 of the Australian magazine Two Wheels. Kopier-Maschine, article in German magazine Oldtimer Praxis 10/2010 on Peter Hanke's restored Marusho motorcycle. This 2.4mb article describes the restoration of a Marusho owned by Peter Hanke of Germany, a well-known BMW restorer. It is in German with an English translation. It is sized at 8.25 x 11 inches, so it can be printed on US Letter or A4 paper. I have been unsuccessful in contacting the editorial staff of the magazine to ask for permission to reproduce it.

The article describes the Lilac R92-badged Electra, frame F9-1119, imported by Paris dealer Paul Ladevèze near the end of Lilac's production in 1967. The article is reproduced here with kind permission of the Editor-in-chief, Jean-François Guittard. This is a 5-page reprint in Adobe Acrobat 4.0 format and is 1.3mb. Japanen som försvann, article in Allt om MC no. 1 2002 Allt om MC (Sweden) article 'Japanen som vörsvann', #1 2002. The article covers the LS-18/2 of Nisse and Maja-Lena Nilsson and the author/photographer is Mats Andreasson. The article is reproduced here with kind permission of the editor, Göran Svensson, whom I assisted with background info and images of Lilac advertizing. Log Book of Harry Beanham The Log Book of Harry Beanham, Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format, 739k, 14 pps. David Bernardi, Colin Horn and others have compiled information about and photos of the late Harry Beanham, Australian motorcycle dealer, collector and mechanic etraordinaire. He owned 5 Lilacs and his log book covering some of these machines is transcribed here, along with the story of his life and the results of the auction of the Lilacs in his estate.
