From September 19 to October 18, 2015, the Lilac Friends Club of Japan and the Hamamatsu City Museum held an extensive exhibition of Lilac motorcycles and Marusho/Lilac Company history. This was the first exhibition of its kind and may never be repeated. We are fortunate to have been given the following materials to share with those who could not attend. . . . ralph walker
This is a 2-page full-color A4-size flyer advertizing the exhibit of Lilac Motorcycles at the Hamamatsu City Museum, September 19 through October 18, 2015, with a brief English translation. Size is 1.3mb. Rendered in full-bleed (edge-to-edge) A4 format. See credits on page 1 of the file. The superb artwork was done by the daughter of one of the organizers.
This is a 16mb collection of 129 photos covering the entire exhibition. Any PDF reader can display it. See the credits on the first page.
You may download/view a video tour of the exhibition by clicking on one of the three choices below. These were derived from the original 750mb version sent to us by Itoh Michihiro. Thank you Itoh san. They are NOT streaming videos, so you must wait until the entire video is downloaded before viewing.
High quality Windows Movie (WMV) format -- 120mb.
Medium quality Apple Quicktime (MOV) format -- 70mb.
Low quality Apple Quicktime (MOV) format -- 35mb.
You may wonder why I did not simply upload this to YouTube, which does a better job of streaming content and can adjust resolution to your connection speed? I prefer to have this website stand alone, not relying on external links.
